Kingston Girls head to state tournament on a roll
KINGSTON, Okla. (KTEN) - The Kingston girls basketball team is headed back to the state tournament for the first time since 2021.
The Lady Redskins have already proved doubters wrong, making it this far. Now, the enter the tournament as one of the hottest teams in 3A basketball, going a perfect 4-0 so far in the playoffs.
"Each tam comes together at a different part of the year," said veteran head coach Chad Rumer. "Last year it was kind of in the middle of the year, which I though was too early. This year I think its kind of hitting at the right time."
Kingston will play Kiefer at 9 p.m. on Thursday at Fair Grounds Arena.
