ARDMORE, Okla. (KTEN) — One person was killed after being hit by a car in Ardmore on Thursday evening.

Police spokesperson Capt. Claude Henry said the accident happened in front of The Exclusive Dispensary, near the intersection of Republic Street Northwest and L Street Northwest, around 7:30 p.m.

The victim was later identified as 61-year-old Mandy Brown of Ardmore. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and Henry asked that any witnesses contact police to provide additional information.
