GUNTER, Texas (KTEN) - It did not take long for Gunter High school to hold another signing day. After five athletes signed on February 6, another five joined on Wednesday morning. 

Three of those signees are from the 2022 state championship football team. Ethan Sloan signed with University of Central Missouri after scoring 65 touchdowns in his Gunter career. Jack St. Clair will head to Eastern Oregon, the state he is originally from, while fellow lineman Mason Peacock signs with DIII powerhouse Mary Hardin-Baylor.

In spring sports, Issac Villanueva signed to play baseball at Dallas Christian College.  Villanueva is the ace of the Tigers' pitching staff. Finally, Nathan Nelson makes it official that he will play golf at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas.
