COLBERT, Okla. (KTEN) — Colbert Public Schools fired bus driver Charles Lee Forester at a board meeting Monday night following more than two weeks of paid suspension.

Forester, 52, was arrested by Atoka police on February 7, charged with buying and possessing child pornography. He was placed on paid suspension and banned from school property as soon as authorities notified the school district.

Colbert Public Schools Superintendent Jarvis Dobbs said there is nothing to indicate Forester engaged in inappropriate conduct with Colbert students.

Forester's preliminary hearing was held February 15, and continues Wednesday morning. He entered a plea of not guilty.
