Monday Evening- Roads across Texoma are already covered in ice as several rounds of freezing rain and sleet have fallen today. Temps are in the 20s. Once the sun sets, roads that are somewhat passable will become treacherous for everyone across Texoma. Temps fall into the low 20s by Tuesday morning with more freezing rain and sleet possible.

Looking Ahead - Not looking to warm up anytime soon. Another round of freezing precip falls Tuesday. Chances are looking more widespread. Freezing rain/sleet chances persist into Wednesday and early Thursday. Expecting anywhere from a glaze of ice to up to 0.75" for some. Locally higher amounts will be possible. If you don't have to get out on the roads, we strongly encourage you to stay home. Temperatures won't get to above freezing until Thursday afternoon. With clouds looming overhead, overnights and early mornings may still be slick through early Friday morning as refreezing occurs.
