Southeastern men get ready for second half of season
DURANT, Oklahoma (KTEN) - The Southeastern Savage Storm men's basketball program went through plenty of roster turnover following a Great American Conference regular season title in 2021-22. However, this new group of Storm players are starting to find a groove.
Southeastern gets ready for the second half of their schedule sitting 6-3 (3-1) and have won four consecutive games. They also lead the GAC in scoring.
"We're pleased with where we are today," said Southeastern head coach Kelly Green.
"It's been a great opportunity and I've been waiting for this moment," said Savage Storm junior forward Kyle Leslie. "Completely different than last year, we're a lot younger, a lot more fresh and we've shown potential."
Southeastern hosts Arkansas Tech on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and then Harding Saturday at 3 p.m. Both games will be at Bloomer Sullivan Arena.
