ATOKA, Oklahoma (KTEN) - One of Atoka's top athletes made his college decision official on Wednesday. Andrew McCall celebrated his signing to play linebacker at Oklahoma State.

McCall said staying in the state of Oklahoma was important to him so when the Cowboys offered him during his senior season, he knew that's where he wanted to be.

He will join a usually stout defense in Stillwater, and will walk in the same footsteps as other great OSU linebackers that have gone to smaller high schools in Oklahoma.

"Malcolm Rodriguez from Wagoner, kind of had the same background, smaller town," said McCall. "It's nice to see those guys succeed and I think it's a good place for a linebacker like me."

McCall will early-enroll as well.
