ARDMORE, Oklahoma (KTEN) - Based off Colorado's 1-11 record this season, you would not think of the Buffaloes as a prime college football recruiting destination. However, that has changes since NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders was hired as Colorado's head coach earlier this month.

The Buffs will add Plainview two-way standout Morgan Pearson to their 2023 recruiting class, after he signed his letter of intent Wednesday afternoon. Pearson will play linebacker in college and is excited for the opportunity to play for a legend.

"It's been a long process," said Pearson. "Going up there and knowing what was going to happen with the coaching staff, and then seeing the campus and all those beautiful facilities, that's what really changed it for me. That's what really made it feel like it was home."
