DURANT, Okla. (KTEN) — We're learning more about gunfire in Durant last Friday morning.

That's when Durant police and agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation responded to a shooting on Weatherby Way in the Remington Hills area.

Police named Joshua Perry as the suspect. He was arrested on Friday after leading police on a short pursuit on Kimberly Road and Cornell Drive.

Durant police said Perry is being held in the Bryan County Jail, charged with eluding a police officer and having a weapon after being convicted of a felony.

Bond was set at $50,000. Perry's next court date is January 11, and the shooting investigation continues.
