DURANT, Oklahoma (KTEN) - Football has become a year-round sport, especially for Texoma athletes looking to play at the next level.

That was apparent on Sunday when over 180 kids ages 10-18 tried out for C4 Sports Performance's fifth season of 7-on-7 football.

C4 owner Sean Cooper says he takes great pride in the growth the program has made in that time.

"It means everything to me because I was a small town kid," said Cooper. "Now that we've done this so long we have genuine relationships with college coaches."

"Seven-on-seven, I feel like it improves your footwork, your skills, everything," said Denison junior defensive back Kenyan Kelly.
