Tishomingo woman dies in motorcycle crash
JOHNSTON COUNTY, Okla. (KTEN) — A 32-year-old Tishomingo woman was killed in a Johnston County crash in on Thursday night.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the incident involved two motorcycles traveling about one mile north of Milburn on State Highway 48A.
Mesha A. Romero, who was a passenger aboard one of the motorcycles, was said to have died at the scene from massive injuries.
The driver of her bike, identified as Tishomingo resident Edward J. Williams, 46, was transferred to a hospital in Plano, Texas, in critical condition suffering multiple injuries.
The operator of the second motorcycle was not injured. OHP Trooper Joshua Christian said no one involved was wearing a helmet.
The accident shut down part of State Highway 48A for more than three-and-a-half hours.
