(KTEN) — Registered Texas voters can now cast early ballots for the upcoming general election.

Early voting continues every day through Friday, November 4; voting hours vary. Election Day is Tuesday, November 8.

Republican Gov. Greg Abbott tops the ballot in his bid for a third term. He is challenged by Democratic candidate and former U.S. Congressman Beto O'Rourke.

Also on the ballot: All U.S. House and Texas House seats, along with a number of statewide and county offices. Check with your local county election authorities for specific information about what is on your ballot and where and when you can cast an early vote:
