(KTEN) -- With Halloween weekend approaching, airbnb is rolling out defensive tragedies to avoid party behavior from guests. Airbnb says their new anti-party ban along with new restrictions will help homeowners deal with rule breaking guests.

"Parties are an issue," said property host, Diane Grote. "That is why I greet all my guests and get a sense of how they are, luckily I have been in pretty good shape."

Guests requesting to book a home without a history of positive reviews will be prohibited from making one or two night reservations. This comes in response to the magnitude of parties and disruptive behavior on properties across the country.

Additionally, the platform has launched a new technology that flags potential high-risk reservations, and prevents those users from taking an advantage of the online rental company.

"I think seeing that they have some liability in operating insurance for damages that they have really been tightening up," said Diane.

Airbnb says these defenses will help support travel and combat disruptive behaviors while allowing guests, hosts, and neighbors to enjoy the holiday weekends.
