COALGATE, Okla. (KTEN) -- Multiple first responders were called to a natural gas plant explosion along County Road 3840 on Tuesday night. 

A resident called Coalgate Fire Department around 10 p.m. after hearing the blast. 

The Marathon Petroleum Corp. warehouse suffered severe damage. 

The Caney Volunteer Fire Department said several tankers from Atoka County were called in to form a tanker strike team at the request of the Coalgate Fire Department. 

Almost 20,000 gallons of water was available on-scene for fire suppression.

The fire was put out overnight.

No one was injured. The access points to CR 3840 were blocked off while authorities investigate what sparked the flames.
