DENISON, Texas (KTEN) - The Denison Yellow Jackets are prepping for their final non-district game of the season again Kennedale on Friday. Denison is coming off of a tough 41-7 loss to a physical Reedy team last Thursday on the road.

The Yellow Jackets said they were lacking in effort and focus, which has become a priority this week.

"We've got to take practice very seriously, be a lot more physical," said junior left tackle Dalton Brown.

"Kennedale is a 4A [Division 1] school but they do bring the hammer every down," said Denison head coach Brent Whitson. "We're getting ready for what we're gonna see in our next three opponents, Kennedale will be a good package."

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Munson Stadium on Friday.
