Denison Chamber unveils office refresh
DENISON, Texas (KTEN) — The Denison Chamber of Commerce unveiled its renovated building on Tuesday.
President and CEO Diana Theall said the organization has been in the same building since the 1940s, and it needed some TLC.
"When it was built in 1949, there wasn't all the internet cords running around," she said. "And so one of the main things we had to do was wiring. So now everything was hidden behind the walls, and that was a challenge, because there are firewalls here."
Although there are some loans to pay off, the Chamber feels proud of their new home.
Chamber members pitched in to donate some of the decor.
