Gainesville man faces murder charge after father's death
GAINESVILLE, Texas (KTEN) — A Gainesville man was arrested early Saturday morning and accused of killing his father.
Police were called to the 700 block of South Weaver Street at 12:45 a.m. Mark Gaffney, 44, was found lying in the parking lot.
Gaffney pronounced dead about 45 minutes later at North Texas Medical Center, police said.
Jaleon Gaffney, 27, was taken into custody at the scene and charged with first degree murder.
