Johnston County man in custody for attempted kidnapping

MILBURN, Okla. (KTEN) — The Johnston County Sheriff's Office said a man is behind bars after trying to convince a child to leave a convenience store with him.
In a Facebook post, Sheriff Gary Dodd said his agency received a call Saturday about a man who was talking to and touching a child inappropriately at the Milburn Express store.
"The father realized what was taking place and told the male subject to leave the store. The male subject left on a motorcycle on State Highway 78 back towards Tishomingo," Dodd said in the post. "This entire ordeal was captured on surveillance cameras."
A man identified as Timothy Minor, 63, was arrested a short time later at his home on charges including battery of a minor child, attempted child-stealing, attempted kidnapping, and lewd acts.
An additional charge was added after the suspect allegedly threatened physical harm to a deputy.
"If I’ve said once, I’ve said it a thousand times: This will not be tolerate or allowed in this County," Dodd wrote.
