Denison man arrested on child sex warrants
SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) — A Denison man facing warrants for sexual abuse of a child surrendered to authorities early Wednesday morning.
The Grayson County Sheriff's Office said David James Sagers, 41, had been the subject of a January referral from Child Protective Services regarding a family member.
Officials said warrants for Sagers' arrest were issued on May 31 after determining there was enough evidence to proceed.
Sagers turned himself in at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday and was being held on $125,000 bond.
He is facing warrants including continuous sex abuse of a child under 14; aggravated sexual assault of a child; and indecency with a child involving sexual conduct.
