Wednesday Afternoon - You can do without the coat this afternoon! Temps will climb into the low 80s for some. Still may want to grab the umbrella as we could be working with a few light showers through the day. Winds stay strong out of the south at 10-20 mph.

Looking Ahead - Spring coming in like a lion and we're hoping it goes out like a lamb! Southerly winds pull in warm air and moisture from the Gulf of Mexico over the next several days. Gusts over 20 mph can be expected through Thursday evening. Due to those strong low level winds, temps reach into the 80s for the I-35 corridor counties on Wednesday. As temperatures skyrocket Wednesday, we're gearing up for our next severe weather threat Thursday. A cold front is slated to stall over the area late Thursday evening into the overnight hours. This front could stall across Texoma, which will likely lead to a high flooding threat Thursday night. The heaviest rain will be Thursday evening through Friday mid morning. As far as the severe weather potential goes, our entire viewing area is under a slight risk for severe weather with all hazards possible. Damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes will be in play. Be sure to have multiple ways to receive weather alerts. Great news - once the storms are over, Texoma is in for a beautiful, warm weekend! Temps will be in the 70s Saturday and Sunday with sunny skies. A few more rain chances could be possible overnight Sunday into Monday.
