ARDMORE, Okla., (KTEN) — Southern Oklahoma Library Systems opened its Children's Story Walk Tuesday Morning at Regional Park in Ardmore.

The attraction includes pages from a deconstructed children’s book laminated and displayed on a walking trail.

“I love it, and it's really good for kids,” said Story Walk visitor Autry Treadwell. “I'll definitely read it every time I come.”

Library staffers said the Story Walk encourages families to read together and get outside.

“I'm so excited we were able to bring this to Regional Park for all of the families and children to enjoy,” said SOLS youth service coordinator Stephanie Way. “It encourages family time, literacy, and a healthy lifestyle.”

Southern Tech graphic design students created the images on the Story Walk displays.
