KINGSTON, Oklahoma (KTEN) - It was not easy, but the Kingston Redskins battled their way to a 7-6 victory over Westville in the opening game of their OSSAA 3A regional tournament.

Dakota Wiebner was the star for Kingston striking out multiple batters, bringing in an RBI on a sacrifice fly and hitting a two-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Westville scored three runs in the top of the fifth inning to re-take the lead. Kingston then rallied again to hang on and win.

The Redskins also beat Kansas 2-1 later in the afternoon.
