ARDMORE, Okla. (KTEN) — Black Mesa Taproom in Ardmore will host a benefit concert for Ukrainian refugees on Saturday.

All of the proceeds will go to World Central Kitchen, a charity that serves hot meals to Ukrainians fleeing their country as the Russian invasion continues.

“World Central Kitchen provides warm meals at all of the border crossings out of Ukraine,” said event organizer Buddy Lane. “They are also in Ukraine in some areas where battle and war are still taking place. They are doing wonderful work.”

Musicians from Fort Worth and southern Oklahoma will be performing at the event.

“I'm very excited to have the opportunity to bring some music to local people and hopefully raise some funds for the Ukrainian refugees,” Lane said. “I'm really looking forward to some of the southern Oklahoma musicians meeting some North Texas musicians.”

The concert begins at 4 p.m. Saturday and is schedule to continue until around 7:30.

People of all ages are welcome to stop by Black Mesa Taproom at 109 West Main Street. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
