Reward doubled for suspect in Wilson police shooting case
WILSON, Okla. (KTEN) — Wilson Mayor Frank Schaaf is doubling the reward being offered for information leading to the arrest of a person who shot a police officer on Sunday.
Wilson police said Officer Tyler Skinner was shot twice at point-blank range. The bullets were deflected by Skinner's protective vest, but he was knocked down before the shooter fled.
The suspect was described as a man in his mid-20s to 30s with brown hair and a scruffy beard.
