SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) — A Sherman man is facing a range of child sexual assault charges.

Robert Feist, 39, was arrested on Saturday in the 1700 block of West Washington Street.

The Grayson County Sheriff's Office said said Feist was placed under investigation starting in 2020 after being named by multiple alleged victims. He was arrested at that time and then released on bond.

Feist was indicted on additional charges on January 5, according to court records, and he was taken into custody 11 days later.

He is now being held at the Grayson County Jail on a total of seven charges, including continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 and six counts of aggravated child rape.

Bond for Feist is set at $400,000. A jury trial in 15th District Court has been scheduled for March 7 in his felony case.
