SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) -- Cold weather brings additional concerns to your set of wheels.

This can include low tire pressure, weakened batteries, coolant level and potency questions.

Veteran Mechanics offer tips on how to prevent a flat tire. Business owner of A & B Automotive, Brandon Rochell said, "A lot of it has to do with how you're actually paying attention to how your vehicle is actually operating. If you're driving your vehicle and something doesn't feel right, you should have someone look at it, and that's something really important to pay attention to."

Rochell adds it's vital to maintain your vehicle in winter and stay up to date on oil changes.
