Drive-by shooting suspect arrested in Paris
PARIS, Texas (KTEN) — Almost six months after a drive-by shooting that left a teenager wounded, Paris police have arrested a suspect in the case.
Finess Shamar McCuin, 17, was taken into custody on Sunday night after police pulled over a vehicle for speeding in the 1000 block of Bonham Street.
McCuin, a passenger in the car, was carrying a firearm and marijuana, police said.
McCuin had been the target of an arrest warrant in connection with a shooting on July 5, 2021 in the 700 block of East Tudor Street.
He's being held in the Lamar County Jail facing charges including assault with a deadly weapon, unlawful carrying a weapon, and marijuana possession.
