Stuffing a bus with school supplies in Ardmore

ARDMORE, Okla. (KTEN) -- The United Way of South Central Oklahoma hosted its annual Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive Friday in Ardmore.
This year, the supplies will be provided to area teachers at no cost.
"Feed the Children decided to conduct a teacher pop-up store next weekend where our five-county service area teachers can schedule a time to come in and pick up school supplies," said United Way executive director Dalea Echols.
The non-profit also plans to match all donations made at the Stuff the Bus event.
“OG&E has purchased 11 pallets of school supplies in addition to what we are raising today, and the match,” Echols said. “Our goal is to raise 20 baskets.”
The school supply pop-up store for teachers will be at the Ardmore Convention Center on August 21 from 1 to 4 p.m.
