DENISON, Texas (KTEN) -- Three Pottsboro siblings organized a fundraiser to help a neighbor in need.

Twelve-year-old Paxton Trojacek was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in April. When Daniel Sampley and his siblings found out, they reached out to 1880 Ice House to ask if they'd host a fundraiser.

Saturday, a crowd gathered for a silent auction and barbeque to benefit the Pottsboro student.

"He's been going back and forth to Dallas for chemo treatments. I know the costs add up," Sampley said. "If we can just help them and support them in any way possible, that's the main goal."

All proceeds from the event went to the Trojacek family. The event raised $12,500.
