(KTEN) -- There were mixed results for school bond elections in two Texoma districts on Tuesday.

Calera Public Schools asked voters to approve two bonds. A $175,000 bond to update security, heating and air conditioning systems received 61 percent approval, but a separate $200,000 issue to purchase two new school buses was rejected.

Marietta Public Schools can go forward with plans for a $19 million high school and junior high school building after 64 percent of voters said "yes." The bond will be paid off over a 17-year period with an 8.5 percent tax increase.
