SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) -- The search for Giana Smith continues. The 14-year-old Sherman girl was last seen on February 17.

Sherman police are asking for your help to find her.

"The case has been assigned to a detective to follow up on," said police spokesperson Sgt. Brett Mullen. "We're just asking anyone who has any information to let us know, so we can locate her and try to get her back home."

Police said Giana's family has not heard from her since she went missing one week ago.
