SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) -- Authorities said 44-year-old Ebby Wade was indicted for murder Monday.
Wade was arrested in January for the March 2020 murder of 21-year-old Emilia Gunnels.
Gunnels' body was found by City of Sherman workers in a wooded area along Blue Flame Road on March 23, 2020. That was just one day after she was reported missing.
She had last been seen at her Sherman residence, about 10 miles from where her body was found.
Deputies confirmed Gunnels and Wade were acquaintances.
Bond for Wade was set at $1 million. A court date has not yet been set.
