Collinsville, Howe banks hit by early morning burglars
GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KTEN) -- Two Grayson County banks were hit by burglars early Sunday morning.
Police said around 5:14 a.m. three or more individuals drove up to the ATM at Credit Union Bank at 100 E. Woodland St. in Collinsville, Texas.
The suspects tried to pull the ATM out of the ground using chains on the truck. The truck was said to be stolen out of Tioga, Texas.
According to police, the suspects drove off in a white Nissan Rogue, or similar, to Independent Financial Bank at 100 S. Denny St. in Howe, Texas.
The suspects broke through a glass door and were inside for a few minutes before leaving empty handed, police said.
Police have not yet identified the suspects.
