DURANT, Okla. (KTEN) -- The Choctaw Casino and Resort closed temporarily on Saturday because the City of Durant is experiencing a water outage.

Casino operations ceased and hotel guests were asked to leave until the water issues have been resolved.

The city issued a mandatory boil order effective until 9 a.m. on Sunday after a loss of power reduced the water utility's ability to pump water to customers.
