Grayson County Judge arrested for DWI

SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) -- Texas state troopers arrested Grayson County Judge Bill Magers for driving while intoxicated on Wednesday night.
Texas Highway Patrol Staff Sgt. Mark Tackett said troopers were investigating a minor accident in the parking lot of a gas station adjacent to Schulman's Movie Bowl Grille when Magers was taken into custody around 10:15 p.m.
Magers, 57, was booked into the Grayson County Jail. According to court records, he posted a $2,500 bond and was released on Thursday morning.
The former three-term Sherman mayor is a Grayson County native and a father of four, according to his official biography.
