Tuesday Overnight - Clear skies with light winds. Temperatures will drop into the mid 30s with some rural areas in Oklahoma possibly hitting that freezing mark.

Wednesday - Another great day of weather in store with lots of sunshine and light winds making a turn to the south by the afternoon. Temperatures will be a bit cooler than Tuesday topping around 60 degrees but still not bad.

Looking Ahead - By Thursday south winds crank in warmer, humid air. Winds will be gusting up to 35 mph Thursday and Friday. If you're going to be on the roof hanging lights...want to make sure you and the decorations are secure. Friday afternoon Texoma has a forecast high of 73 degrees. The all time record for the hottest December 8th was set back in 1966 with a high of 79. For those wishing it would feel a bit more like winter, a cold front is slated to move in Friday night into Saturday. This will wipe away those 70s and drop highs to the 50s this weekend. A low chance for thunderstorms east of I-35 Friday/Saturday with McCurtain County and East Texas included in a level 2 slight risk for thunderstorms. This area will likely change some as we get closer to the weekend, so make sure you are checking in with us. A few strong to severe storms will be possible.
