GAINESVILLE, TX - A rolling replica of the Vietnam Memorial is on display from Tuesday until Saturday at the Gainesville High School.  The display is over 380 feet long and 8 feet tall at the apex.  Students, area organizations, and a few service men that saw the wall going up were out helping erect the monument on Tuesday.

According to Joe White, with the Gainesville Masonic Lodge, "We have the VFW here, the Masons, we've got the sons of the confederate veterans here, a lot of city folks from the school, school kids, they're all out here working, trying to get this thing up for the medal of honor recipients that will be coming in this evening."

The wall is part of a bigger event over the course of the week where this years recipients of the medal of honor will be recognized.
