The bluebonnets are in bloom! One of the best spots to see the Texas State Flower is near the Denison Dam. Wildflower enthusiasts predicted a healthy year for the flower after a wet fall and winter.

It's a misconception that it is illegal to pick a blue-bonnet, but state officials encourage you to resist picking them so others can enjoy them. They'll stay out for only a short time.
