Looking Ahead - Day to day storm chances linger this week with lightning and heavy downpours our biggest concerns. It is heating up and a lot of people are heading to the pools and area lakes, but make sure you're staying weather aware. With afternoon pop-up thunderstorms, lightning will be a concern for the next several days. When thunder roars...head indoors! Lake levels are down for many, including Lake Murray, Lake Texoma, and Bois d'Arc Lake. Temps in the 90s continue this week, this weekend, and likely into next week. Keep your eyes peeled, heat index values could be nearing the triple digits here soon due to increasing humidity. Actual temps are not expected to reach the triple digits just yet for Texoma. Severe weather is possible Saturday evening into the overnight. Remain weather aware!
