Monday Afternoon - Clouds and light showers building southeast will continue traveling toward the northwest through the day today. Rain will likely not be measurable until this afternoon when thunderstorm potential ramps up. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop later this evening - closer to 5/6 pm. Lightning and heavy rain is our highest concern, especially for those out at the Sand Bass Festival. Download our KTEN Weather app so you're aware when storms are nearing and you can head indoors.

Looking Ahead - Another week with consistent rain chances. Not everyone sees rain day to day. Severe weather is not expected through at least Wednesday, but lightning will be an ongoing concern. Temperatures will be around seasonable this week - in the upper 80s and low 90s.
