Tuesday Afternoon- A few showers building along a cold front this afternoon. This front stalls just along the Red River which will keep some in the 70s this afternoon. Those behind the front a little cooler with highs in the low 60s. Important to note - low 60s are still above average for this time of year. Rain chances stay relatively low this afternoon before increasing after sunset tonight.

Looking Ahead - Cold front stalls today which will give us some gloomy weather for the next 48 hours. Rain chances look best tonight and early Wednesday. High pressure in the Gulf of Mexico prevents this front from pushing through the Red River today. This front will then lift as a warm front into Thursday, giving us a warmer end to the work week. More rain this weekend with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Keeping a watchful eye on next Monday. Models are in agreement with a digging trough sliding through the lower 48 Monday. Given we have enough moisture, we could be dealing with strong to severe storms. Areas along and east of I-35 are already under a level 2 out of 5 risk for Monday.
