Thursday Night- Mostly clear skies overnight with temps in the low 70s by Friday morning. Winds will be from the NE. The Perseid Meteor Shower peaks tonight. Due to the full moon, visibility could be impacted.

Looking Ahead - Easterly winds take over Friday. Highs this weekend climb into the mid to upper 90s with mostly sunny skies. Next week, high pressure builds in and temps reach the century mark Monday and Tuesday. A cold front arrives Tuesday night into Wednesday, bringing cooler conditions and scattered rain and storm chances.

Tracking the Tropics - We are continuing to watch a tropical wave off the coast of Africa. Chances for development are near-zero over the next five days. This tropical wave will not be affecting the United States anytime soon.
