Today's Forecast

Hi 83 F
Lo 65 F

Wednesday Morning- Storms push east this morning. The severe weather threat has ended but heavy rain and an occasional lightning strike will be possible. Watch for standing water as some saw close to an inch of rain late last night/early this morning. Temperatures out the door in the 60s with breezy south winds. Another round of storms moves in late tonight with a higher threat for severe weather along the I-35 corridor. Afternoon temperatures climb to the low 80s.

Looking Ahead - The risk for storms Wednesday and Thursday extends further east and includes most of our viewing area as storms continue to develop daily this week. Storms Wednesday night arrive into the overnight and last through early Thursday morning. Wind and hail will be the primary threats, but there is a low but nonzero tornado threat.  We do not anticipate long-track, violent tornadoes with these next few rounds. Temperatures stay warm and seasonal - in the 70s and 80s through the start of next week. Looks like rain chances will also follow into the weekend and early next week. Rainfall totals reach 1-3" through the weekend.
