THACKERVILLE, OK -Officials at the WinStar Casino will hold a job fair in Ardmore this Saturday, May 3 at the Ardmore Convention Center. The casino is looking to fill 1,000 new positions as the multi-million dollar grand expansion project draws closer to the completion date.

WinStar Casinos, located off 1-35 just north of the Oklahoma-Texas state line is the state's second largest casino. The facility has job openings ranging from cashiers to cooks, IT service technicians to ticketing clerks. As a result of previous job fairs held over the past two months, the casino has already hired 250 new employees and has started training these new hires for many of its positions.

This Saturday's job fair will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ardmore Convention Center, 2401 North Rockford. Applicants also can fill out an application online at www.winstarcasinos.com.

Upon completion, the newly expanded WinStar Casino will transport guests to five great cities from around the world-Paris, Rome, London, Madrid and Beijing. The casino is doubling the size of its building to 380,000 square feet, adding 4,000 new slot machines in five gaming plazas and a 2500 seat dual-purpose convention/showplace theater.
