Anchor, KTEN News at 5, 6 & 10PM
Meredith Saldana comes to KTEN News from Coppell, Texas where she was born and raised with her three siblings. Meredith has aspired to become a reporter since she was five years old. She started her reporting career in high school, reporting and producing for her high school station KCBY.
Meredith spent most of her reporting career in high school covering sports until she graduated in 2000. She then went on to follow in her parent's footsteps and attended the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority.
Meredith continued on to attend the Connecticut School of Broadcasting where she met many life long broadcasting contacts and friends.
Meredith loves spending time with her family and her beautiful, blue-eyed Siberian Husky, Remy Monroe.
She is the oldest of four children; she has a sister who is her best friend, and twin brothers whom she absolutely adores.
When Meredith is not working she loves watching sports, traveling, having dinner with her girl friends, shopping and catching up with her Tivo. She loves helping people in need and making a difference, she has a love for children, and believes nothing brightens a day like a child's smile.
Meredith's family is split between Norman and Dallas, so she is excited to be living right in the middle, where she is never too far from home!
