Hit reality show, America's Next Top Model, which airs on the CW Network, has announced a local casting call in the Texoma area to be hosted by its award-winning affiliate in the market, Texoma CW (a KTEN-DT affiliated station).
The local casting call will be held at Tanglewood Resort & Conference Center on Lake Texoma in Pottsboro, Texas on Thursday, August 9th from 12 noon until 5pm.
"We are excited that our area has once again been chosen as a local casting call location for this well known, national competition," commented Asa Jessee, General Manager of the new Texoma CW Network. "This will be the only audition held for hundreds of miles and we are honored to host this event along with our partners," Jessee added.
Young women between the ages of 18 and 27 and at least 5 foot, 7 inches (5'7") tall are welcome to compete in the event. Individuals wishing to participate in the event can view the complete list of eligibility requirements at www.texomacw.com.
Coordinator for this local event, Courtney Kernek commented, "This is a once in a life time opportunity for many of the aspiring female models in this area. The Texoma area provides us with a large geographical region, stretching from Oklahoma City to Dallas, Texas."
During the casting call each eligible candidate will model and answer 5 to 10 questions before a panel of judges. Each candidate's performance should last between 10 to 15 minutes and will be video taped by Texoma CW to be sent to producers in Los Angeles, CA for further review and consideration.
Kernek added that, "One lucky person from this local casting call will be chosen by the judging panel to move on to the regional semi-finals being held in Houston, TX on August 18th. From there, candidates will be selected to join the cast of the national show which will be taped sometime this fall."

On the day of the event, each candidate will be expected to present a legible copy of their completed application, a copy of either their United States Passport or Driver's License ANDSocial Security Card or Birth Certificate. Also required will be three photographs, each clearly labeled on the back with candidate's name and audition location (Sherman, TX). One photo must be a close up of the candidate's face, the second must be a full length photograph of the candidate's entire (clothed) body, and the third must be a full length photograph of the candidate wearing a swimsuit (Only ONE photo can be in black and white). Polaroid pictures are acceptable as long as the candidate is clearly visible. APPLICANTS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED IF ALL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS ARE MET.
