Denison police are still investigating a drug bust after confiscating three quarters of a million dollars worth of marijuana Friday. KTEN's Jhen Kordela reported live from Dension on KTEN News at 5.

Denison police and drug force narcotics officers have been working the scene of a drug bust since about 9:30 this morning.

Drug task force officials and Denison police served search warrants to two separate houses on the corner of East Sears and Seventh Avenue this morning.

Since then, they have seized 625 pounds of marijuana, which has a street value of more than $750,000. Police also seized several vehicles, at least one home and some money. The amount of money seized from the scene has not yet been determined.

Lt. Michael Eppler of the Denison Police department says, "Of course, we have one arrest that we're making, and we'll just have to see when the investigation is finished where else we'll go from there."

Denison police have not released the name of the suspect who is in the process of being arrested because the investigation is still ongoing. KTEN will keep you posted as more information becomes available.
