Durant city council member's DUI case dismissed

Durant City Council member Danny Sherrer was arrested on August 5, 2023.

DURANT, Okla. (KTEN) — Durant city council member Danny Sherrer's DUI case was dismissed last week after a toxicology report found no intoxicating substances in his system when he was arrested in August 2023.

Sherrer had been taken into custody after allegedly driving under the influence and carrying a firearm under the influence.
