Our top story, the manhunt for Kevin Cross continues at this hour, after investigators say they got a big tip from a small town.

Authorities from over ten departments turned the the Bryan County town of Silo upside down after someone spotted a man fitting Cross's description.

KTEN's Jocelyn Lockwood has the story.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Bryan County and several other departments launched a full scale manhunt this morning after a Silo man found someone asleep inside his pick-up before work.

Officials say the man noticed a pair of boots propped up in the truck window and ran to call for help.

Just minutes later, over 50 officials swarmed the town of Silo and set up a perimeter.

Dogs searched west of the home, three planes were watching from the sky, and armed troopers searched by foot, but all with no luck.

It was this truck authorities believed Cross crawled into.

They have lifted prints, and flown them to OSBI headquarters in Oklahoma city.

Officials say they think the man spotted is Cross becuase he was wearing a brown Carhart jacket identical to the one they say Cross may have stolen from a Durant home on Sunday night.

Right now, troopers are going door-to-door handing out these flyers hoping anyone will have information.
