ADA, Okla. -- The Pontotoc County Sheriff's Office is offering a reward for information on suspicious brush fires being set throughout the county.

Sheriff John Christian said 30 fires have scorched more than 700 acres over the past year.  He suspects the same people are responsible for the fires.

"This is a very dangerous situation, a very hazardous situation," Christian said. "It's a very costly situation, and you depend on that grass for your livestocks' survival."

If you know anything about the fires, call the sheriff's office at 580-332-4169.
